Junior Sales & Marketing Executive
Salary £17k – £20k PA

We are an exciting fully integrated Digital Marketing Agency based in the Rock and Roll epicentre of Hertfordshire that is Knebworth and have a brilliant opportunity for a bright Junior Marketing Executive. We provide outstanding marketing solutions, websites and advertising for a range of established clients. You will be working in a creative, fun and enjoyable atmosphere where you willbe a key team player with great input.

The Role:

As a Junior Sales & Marketing Executive you will be directly supporting the senior management team, and you will be working on a range of projects for the company. You will have the chance to learn from senior members of the team and to develop you skills including offline marketing, online marketing and social media.

Key Responsibilities

Writing engaging web, brochure, blog or case studies copy;
Building client and supplier relationships;
Developing and implementing marketing strategies including videos, websites,
campaigns and events;
Creating PowerPoint/Keynote presentations;
Assisting in brand positioning, identity and development;

Key Requirements

Preferably educated to degree level;
Excellent writing skills and verbal reasoning skills;
Proven ability to work to deadlines and multitask projects;
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages (InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage);
A good general knowledge on various aspects of web design and development;

Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines;

Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;

Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts;
Day to Day Activity may include
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
Cold calling to arrange first, second and third meetings with potential clients to prospect for new business;
Lead generation and management of inbound leads;
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
Presenting proposals, writing phone scripts, face to face sales;
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Gathering market and customer information;
Creation and execution of email marketing campaigns;
Search engine optimisation planning and implementation of its processes;
Running of PPC /Google Adwords campaigns;
Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements;
Attending team meetings and reporting progress with colleagues;
Liaising with project management and various business areas;
