Our tips, tricks and processes we use to create your website
Built to be manageable
Our websites are built to be fully managed by you…. if that's what you want. We give our clients full access and training to their CMS. We build our sites in a modular way, building each component in a logical and systematic way that makes it simple to manage and update content even if you’re not a Tech native.
Designed to convert
As you will see from our process, we spend a lot of time behind the scenes getting the strategy right: Researching, User Profiling, Content Strategy and working on the UX of your site. These steps are vital in ensuring we are creating a site that will convert visitors into customers.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the key to your site being ranked on Google. We work closely with our partner SEO agency on the ongoing SEO, but in the build phase we need to get the onsite SEO right. This is achieved by auditing the site and reviewing elements like H1 Tags, URL structure, Keyword content and creating meta tags. Most important is making sure we implement 301 re-directs to keep the goodness build up from your old site. We are on hand to guide clients through this process during the strategy phase of the build.
Mobile & Tablet Friendly
It’s common knowledge that in today’s world more sites are accessed via a mobile device then desktop, which is why we build mobile first, then move into desktop, this is a critical part of the content planning. Google is becoming more and more interested in the responsive nature of your site so it's really important to work this way.
Optimised for speed
Images and video are becoming more and more important these days which is why this is a crucial stage of the build. We make sure all images and videos are optimised for speedy page loads. No one likes to wait for web pages to load and visitors won’t hang around long these days. It’s these small things that can make all the difference.
